Founded in 1948, Peace River Center provides mental health, victim services, and substance use disorder services throughout Polk, Highlands and Hardee counties in Florida. Peace River Center provides services through 30 programs. Specific services include 24-hour crisis service, domestic violence shelters and victim advocacy, a group home, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services, integrated care combining primary care and behavioral health services, community based and in-home services, a rape recovery program, and substance use disorder treatment.
