Founded in 1976, Transition House, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides housing options, support services, and community interventions for individuals and families surviving domestic and intimate partner violence. In support of its mission to “break the cycle of domestic violence in the community,” the organization collaborates with survivors to address the systemic and widespread impact of domestic violence; educate youth and adults; and build partnerships to promote the development of safe and healthy communities.
