Originally founded as a non-profit, in 2007 the organization restructured to form three entities: a for-profit, Benchmark; the original non-profit, Anthony Wayne Rehabilitation Center (AWRC); and a charitable foundation, Anthony Wayne Services (AWS) Foundation, which gets 60% of profits from Benchmark and redistributes those funds in the form of grants.;
