Program Overview
Developed in 1996 at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Project SEARCH is an international program that offers employment preparation and job development opportunities. It is a program model that health systems and provider organizations can adopt with their own consumers with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). After starting as a single program, it has grown into an international network of sites, with the primary objective to secure competitive employment for consumers with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
