In response to the Major Disaster Declaration requested by Texas Governor Greg Abbott on March 23, 2020, Emergence Health Network was identified as a host for the Immediate Services Program (ISP) and Regular Services Program (RSP)-Crisis Counseling Program (CCP) grant to launch the CCP program, which provides individual and group crisis counseling, education, assessment, referral, and community support. With social distancing mandates, EHN had to be creative and innovative to ensure that anyone who needed services could access them.
