Maine OCFS DRAFT Proposal To Redesign The Funding Method For Residential Infant Mental Health

The Maine Department of Health and Human Services’ (DHHS’) draft outlines its proposal to redesign the funding method for residential infant mental health. The proposal is part of an effort by the DHHS to develop an alternative to the current Private Non Medical Institution (PNMI) funding. The DHHS wants to unbundle PNMI services and bill legitimate treatment services for both adults and children.
