NextLevel Letter To Current Members About Change To MCCN Status
In early January 2016, the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) notified Medicaid provider organizations about changes to care coordination programs as two program types began transitioning their members to full-risk managed care plans. The transitions affect Care Coordination Entities (CCEs) and Accountable Care Entities (ACEs). ACEs and CCEs are in the process of becoming Managed Care Community Networks (MCCNs) or are partnering with MCOs to provide care coordination services within risk-based managed care delivery systems.
