WellCare Of Kentucky Healthy Rewards Program Overview

On January 1, 2016, WellCare of Kentucky launched a new Medicaid Healthy Rewards Program to encourage its members to access preventive care services. The program rewards members who “achieve” a healthy behavior with a debit card for an amount between $10 and $60, depending on the type of behavior completed. The program is focused on well child visits, pregnancy care, diabetes check-ups for eye exams and A1c glucose control testing, cervical cancer screenings and mammograms, annual adult health screenings, and preventive dental care.
