Nebraska's bill 820 that was introduced on January 5, 2012 aims to provide for a statewide level care assessment system and a foster care reimbursement rate structure and to provide a temporary stipend to foster parents. In addition the bill will change requirements for foster care licensing. The bill would create the Foster Care Reimbursement Rate Committee to develop a statewide standard for foster care payments.
