Ohio Fresh Start Act, Proposed Initiated Statute
The Fresh Start Act is an initiated statue developed by ResponsibleOhio, which also developed a defeated 2015 Ohio ballot measure to legalize marijuana for medical and recreational use. The Fresh Start Act was intended as a follow-up to the ballot measure, assuming it was approved by the voters, to allow people with previous marijuana convictions to ask to have the conviction expunged from their records.
