California DHCS Opposition To “Community Health Center Alliance for Patient Access et al., v. Baass, et al.,” Motion For Temporary Restraining Order
This document was filed on January 5, 2022, by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) in opposition to a request for temporary restraining order (TRO) filed by the Community Health Center Alliance for Patient Access (CHCAPA). The CHCAPA represents a group of federally qualified health centers and community health centers. They oppose the state's change to Medicaid drug purchasing that consolidates all purchasing at the state level. The TRO was denied on January 10, 2022, but the complaint will continue. A hearing is scheduled for April 5, 2022.
