November 21, 2006 Nursing Home Use by "Oldest Old" Sharply Declines This analysis of the results of the National Nursing Home Survey indicates that the percentageĀ of adults over the age of 65 who live in nursing homes has declined from 4.2% in 1985 to 3.6% in 2004.
