Texas is planning to privatize operations at one of six state psychiatric hospitals by September 1, 2012. The goal is to reduce state spending on the hospital operations by at least 10% annually, compared to 2011 spending, for each year of a four-year contract with a private vendor. This document describes the responses received from stakeholders and interested vendors in response to a request for information.
