General Assistance Recipients Assigned To The Healthy PA Private Coverage Option (PCO) Coverage On & After Jan. 1, 2015

This notice was released on January 9, 2015 by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) to update stakeholders on how the state was resolving an error in its Medicaid risk assessments in assigning beneficiaries to redesigned Medicaid Healthy or Healthy Plus plans or the Private Coverage Option (PCO) plans. The error had resulted in assigned existing beneficiaries with behavioral health disorders to the new low-risk PCO plans rather than the Medicaid Healthy Plus plan for medically frail beneficiaries . . .
