The report was released in January 2015 by the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) for the federal Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). For this analysis, the OIG reviewed a random sample of developmental disability waiver claims submitted by the New York Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) for calendar years 2006 through 2008.
