Implementation Of Collaborative Documentation In The Pennsylvania Behavioral Health System
On January 15, 2015, the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) released guidelines for implementing collaborative documentation in Pennsylvania’s public behavioral health system. The guidelines will allow behavioral health provider organizations to bill Medicaid separately for collaborative documentation provided by Certified Peer Specialists.
