Idaho Legislature Office Of Performance Evaluations Report On The Southwest Idaho Treatment Center
The report was released in January 2019 by the Idaho Legislature’s Office of Performance Evaluations. It reviewed operations at the state-run Southwest Idaho Treatment Center for people with intellectual/developmental disability (I/DD). The report characterized the facility management as lacking an effective approach to solving problems, and said the state lacked a “coherent vision” for services for people with I/DD in crisis.
