Nebraska's bill 1160 that was introduced on January 19, 2012 states the need for development of an information systems and to provide reports and advance planning documents and surveys. It states that the state of Nebraska does not have the capacity to collect and analyze routinely and effectively the data required to inform policy decisions, child welfare service development, and evaluation of its child welfare system.
