Ohio Medicaid and the Ohio Department of Aging worked on a concept paper that provides a high level overview of the state's initial proposal, with a goal of implementing a new streamlined HCBS waiver program in January 2013.Governor Kasich's budget (HB 153)requires Ohio Medicaid to make it easier for Ohioans to access and navigate HCBS waiver programs by reducing fragmentation in the Medicaid long-term care system.
