The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) is in the process of implementing a redesign to its Medicaid and PeachCare Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) programs. DCH contracted with Navigant to analyze the state's options. DCH ultimately decided against implementing a complete redesign in June 2012, but is implementing specific Navigant recommendations that it implement value-based purchasing, support a move to the patient-centered medical home model, and move to a common pharmacy preferred drug list.
