On January 28, 2015, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced an agreement to create housing for homeless veterans at the West Los Angeles VA campus. The agreement is part of a settlement of the 2011 Valentini v. McDonald class action lawsuit filed on behalf of homeless veterans. Under the agreement, the VA and the plaintiffs’ representatives will develop by February 13, 2015 a written plan to help end veteran homeless in Greater Los Angeles.
