In February 2013, SAMHSA's National Center on Substance Abuse and Child Welfare (NCSACW) released a final report on its In-Depth Technical Assistance (IDTA) program. IDTA aimed to strengthen collaboration and linkages across service systems and family courts to improve outcomes for families with substance use disorders who are involved in the child welfare and family court systems.
