Virginia Seeks Phase I & Phase II of Virginias Systems Transformation for Individuals With Intellectual Disability/Developmental Disabilities

On February 5, 2013, Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) released a request for proposals (RFP # 720C- 04357-13R) seeking an evaluation of its state Medicaid waiver systems to address barriers to meeting the terms of settlement agreement with the federal Department of Justice. The state is exploring its options for revising the Medicaid waiver systems for the Intellectual Disability (ID), Day Support, and Individual and Family Development Disability Services (IFDDS) waiver programs.
