On February 5, 2016, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) announced it had selected Aetna Better Health of Nebraska, Nebraska Total Care (Centene), and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan for the state's new Heritage Health Medicaid managed care plan that will integrate physical and behavioral health care. Total annual spending is estimated at $1 billion.
