The briefing, “Redesigning the Nursing Home: How The Green House Project Is Improving The Way We Care For Older Americans,” discussed the merits of the Green House model in which nursing homes are smaller, with capacity for no more than a dozen residents per unit, and are designed to look and function like a family home.
