Judge John Bender of the Franklin County Ohio Court of Common Pleas ordered White Hat Management LLC, a charter school mangement organization to deliver by March 6, 2012 the financial records requested by 10 of the schools that it manages. The Judge’s order states that the money that private management companies receive from the state is public money, and how it is spent must be thoroughly accountable to the public.
