Mercer Consulting Operations/Readiness Review Of MeckLINK Behavioral Healthcare For North Carolina Department Of Medical Assistance

The review was conducted to ensure that MeckLINK, a Medicaid behavioral health managed care organization (MCO) for residents of Mecklenberg County, North Carolina, met state criteria for readiiness ot operate as an MCO under the state’s Medicaid 1915 (b) (c) Waiver. The MCOs are responsible for all prior authorization, clinical care management and utilization review, provider organization network management, reporting, and quality improvement activities for their catchment areas.
