Request for Proposal (RFP) Number CMS-2007-QIO9thSOW-NAHC Renewal QIOs Only

January 22, 2008 Medicare Quality Improvement Organizations (QIOs) in eight states were invited to compete to provide services because they did not meet the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) quality benchmarks in their current contracts. The states are: This solicitation applies to Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) contracts to be competitively awarded in the states of: New York, California, Minnesota Mississippi, Oklahoma, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Nevada. The proposal due date is March 11, 2008. Contracts will start August 1, 2008, and will run through July 31, 2011. The QIOs will be focusing on providing specific quality improvement . . .
