New York State Office of Mental Health Transition Plan For FEGS Behavioral Health Service Contracts
On February 20, 2015, the New York Office of Mental Health (OMH) announced it was transitioning its contracts with FEGS Health and Human Services valued at $80 million for 13 behavioral health programs in the greater New York City area. In January 2015, FEGS announced plans to close due to a financial crisis. The programs will be transferred to Jewish Board of Family and Childrens Services (JBFCS), which serves a similar service area to FEGS and has capacity to accept the consumers formerly served by FEGS . . .
