On February 20, 2015, the New York Office of Mental Health (OMH) announced it was transitioning its contracts with FEGS Health and Human Services valued at $80 million for 13 behavioral health programs in the greater New York City area. In January 2015, FEGS announced plans to close due to a financial crisis. The programs will be transferred to Jewish Board of Family and ChildrenÂ’s Services (JBFCS), which serves a similar service area to FEGS and has capacity to accept the consumers formerly served by FEGS . . .
