The Arkansas Department of Human Services is participating in a statewide health care payment redesign initiative that seeks to base reimbursements on episodes of care, rather than individual patient interactions. This document describes the current vision for the episode payments; it was released to facilitate discussion among the condition-specific Initiative workgroups during March 2012.
