On June 7, 2012, the Delaware Department of Correction (DOC) awarded an $11.9 million contract to Connections Community Support Programs, Inc. (Connections) to provide correctional mental health services. The two-year contract started July 1, 2012, and runs through June 30, 2014, followed by two one- year optional extension periods. Connections will provide mental health services, chemical dependency treatment, programs for those convicted of driving under the influence (DUI) of intoxicants, and sex offender treatment services.
