Illinois Senate Bill 1900 to Increase Insurance Coverage of Autism Treatment

January 10, 2008 The bill would amend state insurance law for the state, counties, municipalities, and school districts offering insurance, as well as amending the Health Maintenance Organization Act, the Limited Health Service Organization Act, the Voluntary Health Services Plans Act, and the Illinois Public Aid Code. The maximum value of services would be adjusted annually to reflect inflation. The bill has been referred to the Illinois Senate Rules Committee for review, but no hearing date has been set . . .
