Georgia-Alabama Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children Agreement, First Amendment

The document was released in February 2014 by child welfare officials in Georgia and Alabama. It amends the Georgia-Alabama Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC) to allow more counties to participate in a pilot project in February 2014 between Alabama and Georgia counties on the border between the two states. The compact was amended in March 2015 to include all counties on the Georgia-Alabama border: 25 counties in west Georgia and 11 counties in eastern Alabama . . .
