This is a letter written by Kentucky state auditor of public accounts, Mr. Adam Edelen, on February 29, 2012 to four managed care organization contracting on Medicaid with the Commonwealth of Kentucky. In the letter, Mr. Edelen made some recommendations to make sure the managed care organizations understood the new managed care system that was implemented on November 1, 2011. The recommendations were based upon the inquiries made with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
