Returning Home From Iraq And Afghanistan: Assessment Of Readjustment Needs of Veterans, Services Members, And Their Families

In March 2013, the Institute of Medicine (IOM) of the National Academies published a report brief discussing the IOM committee's comprehensive assessment of the physical, psychological, social, and economic effects of deployment on service members, their families, and communities. Congress required the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs to conduct this assessment.
