March 2006 Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act: 2006 Report to the California Legislature The Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act (JJCPA) supports community-based programs that have proven effective in reducing crime and delinquency among at-risk youth and young offenders. In 2004-05, the JJCPA supported 168 programs implemented by counties to address locally identified needs in the continuum of responses to juvenile crime.
