Enrolled Oregon House Bill 4002 Relating To The Addiction Crisis In This State; Declaring An Emergency

On March 4, 2024, the Oregon House of Representatives published this House Bill (HB) 4002 relating to the addiction crisis in the state, and declares an emergency. The bill modifies Measure 110, a ballot measure passed in 2020, which decriminalized possession and use of drugs. Under House Bill 4002, starting in September 2024, people found in possession of small amounts of hard drugs will be charged with a misdemeanor.
