A Draft for Request for Proposals (RFP) for Privatization of One Texas State Mental Health Hospital

Texas Health and Human Services Commission released a draft request for proposal (RFP) for the privatization of one of the state mental hospitals. The intent of the draft RFP is to receive and evaluate information that may be used to develop the RFP. It provides an opportunity to review and comment on the draft RFP before any formal release of subsequent RFPs. The comment period for the draft RFP will run until March 26, 2012. The actual RFP is expected to be released on March 30, 2012 and the anticipated contract start date is Septemeber 1, 2012 . . .
