South Carolina DHHS Targeted Case Management State Plan Amendment Key Proposals

March 12, 2012
South Carolina proposes a Targeted Case Management state plan amendment. The amendment which is subject to CMS approval includes a decrease in the rate to $13.00 per 15 minute TCM unit that will be applicable to all TCM providers. It is anticipated that the the current state agencies providing TCM will be allowed a transition period of two years in order to fully implement the change from a cost driven to a market based rate.
