In this letter to behavioral health stakeholders, the Ohio Department of Mental Health (DMH) announces a revised implementation schedule for Medicaid Health Home services for people with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI). The state has decided to delay the implementation until October 1, 2012 to improve provider organization participation. DMH plans to conduct informational forums in late April and May for interested stakeholders and potential community behavioral health centers interested in becoming Health Home providers.
