Michigan Senate Bill 608 Of 2014 FY14 Supplemental Budget Appropriations With Changes To General Fund Mental Health Grants

The legislation, passed on March 14, 2014, makes mid-year changes to state allocations. The key change is due to the state's plans to implement the Healthy Michigan Plan to expand Medicaid eligibility. To accomodate the Medicaid expansion, the legislature reduced the general fund allocation to the community mental health (CMH) system by 72% effective April 1, 2014.
