National Survey of Americans 44 & Older With Chronic Conditions
March 2009 The National Council on Aging, with support from The Atlantic Philanthropies and the California HealthCare Foundation, commissioned a study that offers a rare glimpse into the lives of Americans with chronic health conditions such as heart disease, arthritis, and diabetes. Lake Research Partners conducted a national telephone survey between January 5 and 30, 2009, among 1,109 people over the age of 44 with at least one chronic condition.
