Oregon House Bill 4004 Of 2022, Behavioral Health Workforce Stability

The legislation was signed into law on March 23, 2022. The goal is to improve the state's behavioral health workforce stability by providing additional funds to augment direct care worker salaries. It requires the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to distribute grants to behavioral health treatment provider organizations for staff compensation and workforce retention and recruitment.
