Update on Medicaid Health Homes for Ohioans with Serious & Persistent Mental Illness

The memo from the Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODMH) to stakeholdes announced that ODMH was delaying the launch of Medicaid health homes for adults with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI), serious mental illness (SMI), and for youth with serious emotional disturbance (SED) until October 1, 2013. Previously the launch was scheduled for July 1, 2013, but the department had become aware of several components of the health homes work plan that did not line up with the July target.
