National Disability Policy: A Progress Report
March 31, 2009 The National Council on Disability (NCD) is required to submit annually to the President and Congress a report assessing the status of the nation in achieving policies that guarantee equal opportunity for all individuals with disabilities and that empower individuals with disabilities to achieve economic self-sufficiency, independent living, and inclusion and integration into all aspects of society.
