April 2000 Substance Abuse Treatment in Adult and Juvenile Correctional Facilities: Findings from the Uniform Facility Data Set 1997 Survey of Correctional Facilities This report presents findings from the Uniform Facility Data Set (UFDS) 1997 Survey of Correctional Facilities, which surveyed a universe of about 7,600 adult and juvenile correctional facilities to identify those that provide on-site substance abuse treatment to their inmates or residents.
