April 2, 2009 This study reviewed the HSC 2007 National Health Tracking Household Survey and found that more Americans are being diagnosed with chronic health conditions than in previous years. In addition, more individuals with chronic health conditions are having trouble paying medical bills. The researchers noted that because the survey was done in 2007, when the economic situation was considerably better, the current pressures on individuals with chronic conditions is likely to be greater . . .
