Georgia Mental Health Parity Act, House Bill 1013 Of 2022
On April 4, 2022, the Georgia House of Representatives published this Georgia Mental Health Parity Act (House Bill 1013 of 2022). The bill requires insurers to follow independent standards for medically necessary mental health and addiction treatment. They will not be permitted to develop their own medical necessity criteria.
