Maryland Department of Juvenile Services Gap Analysis Addendum 2009 to 2004 Phase I: Gap Analysis
March 9, 2009 This annual document presents the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services estimates of new services needed. The analysis was initiated at the request of the Maryland General Assembly. It presents a gap analysis of currently available state and community-based service capacity compared to the ideal service delivery system. The analysis serves as the basis for a Facilities Master Plan (FMP) that is used to improve DJS by addressing the need identified by the gap analysis.
