On April 10, 2012, the Medicaid And CHIP Payment And Access Commission (MACPAC) released a set of statistics pertaining to their Medicaid and CHIP programs. In this report, MACStats includes state-specific information about program enrollment, spending, eligibility levels, optional Medicaid benefits covered, and federal medical assistance percentages (FMAPs), as well as an overview of cost sharing permitted under Medicaid, and the dollar amounts of common federal poverty levels (FPLs) used to determine eligibility for Medicaid and CHIP.
